Alok Remix for Marshmello & Khalid’s ‘Numb’ on Dance/Electronic Charts

Marshmello and Khalid‘s “Numb” continues to climb Billboard‘s dance/electronic charts, boosted on the latest Aug. 27-dated surveys by its remix from Alok, released Aug. 12. The track (all versions combined) tallied 16.4 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 9%), 6.1 million official streams (up 18%) and 2,000 downloads sold in the U.S. (up 1%), in the Aug. 12-18 tracking week, according to Luminate.

On the multi-metric Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, “Numb” nabs top Airplay and Streaming Gainer honors as it stays strong at its No. 3 high for a fourth total week. The collaboration hits a new best on Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs (4-3) and holds in place on Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales (No. 5).

“Numb” is the latest of Marshmello’s seven top 10s on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, a total that includes the 2017 No. 1 “Silence,” also with Khalid (in a featured role). Marshmello holds the record for the longest leading hit dating to the chart’s January 2013 inception: “Happier,” with Bastille (69 weeks at No. 1, 2018-20).

“Numb” is Khalid’s fourth Hot Dance/Electronic Songs top 10, and his first as a lead act.
