Beyoncé partners with Canadian retailer Holt Renfrew to launch merchandise for her recent album and tour. The Renaissance Flagship, located in Holt Renfrew’s Toronto store, will showcase the fashion of Beyoncé’s Renaissance era from July 5-11. This coincides with her performances at Toronto’s Rogers Centre on July 8-9.
“We are honored to be the home of the Renaissance Flagship in Toronto,” says Sebastian Picardo, president and CEO of Holt Renfrew. “This partnership with one of the greatest icons in entertainment is a true illustration of our commitment to self-expression and positive change.”
The merchandise collection includes Beyoncé’s signature silver Renaissance cowboy hat, a “Summer Renaissance” hoodie, a T-shirt with tour-inspired artwork, a green screen form album cover long-sleeved T-shirt, an art book, and a “We Shut This City Down” T-shirt in tribute to her Toronto takeover.
The Renaissance Flagship will also feature an exhibition of Renaissance Couture by Beyoncé x Balmain, showcasing unique couture outfits dedicated to each song on the Renaissance album. This collaboration marks the first time a Black woman has overseen the couture offering from a historic Parisian house.
In addition, Beyoncé is launching a limited-edition product extension titled Renaissance: Beyoncé with Balmain, including oversized tees, a hoodie, and a tote bag. Prices range from $150 to $450.
Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour began in May and will conclude in September in New Orleans. The tour has been a huge success, with Renaissance reaching No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
