Originating in 1993 in the UK, the Top 100 DJs list began as a curated editorial feature in DJ Mag to commemorate its 100th edition. Over the years, it has evolved into a prestigious award show, outgrowing London’s vibrant club scene and establishing a new home in Amsterdam during the ADE festival. After adapting to a broadcast format during the pandemic with memorable moments like Martin Garrix’s historic DJ set atop the Empire State Building, the event now returns to its live format, promising over 12 million viewers a spectacle unlike any other.
Simon Kelly, COO of DJ Mag, expressed his enthusiasm for the event’s return: “We’re thrilled to bring the climax of the Top 100 DJs directly to AMF’s stage after two years of incredible global broadcasts. This reunion of two iconic events will surely deliver an unforgettable experience for the 40,000 fans attending.”
2023 marked the 30th anniversary of DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll, celebrated with a feature-length documentary spotlighting legendary artists like Armin Van Buuren, Carl Cox, and Charlotte de Witte. The 2024 edition promises to be even more stellar, with headliners including Tiësto, Timmy Trumpet, and Martin Garrix set to perform.
In celebration of this renewed collaboration, AMF is offering an exclusive Top 100 DJs x AMF Ticket for €100, including early access and a chance to win a meet-and-greet with the World’s No. 1 DJ. This special offer is available only this week, so act fast to secure your spot at this premier music event.
