EDC Las Vegas to Expand Into Two-Weekend Festival in 2027

EDC Las Vegas is officially growing into a two-weekend event for the first time ever in 2027, introducing a new format titled “Dusk Till Dawn.”

The major announcement comes shortly after the festival’s 30th anniversary edition, which drew over half a million attendees to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Under the new structure, EDC Dusk will take place from May 14–16, 2027, while EDC Dawn is scheduled for May 21–23, 2027.

Festival organizer Insomniac also confirmed that a full week of EDC-themed events across Las Vegas will connect the two weekends, turning the celebration into a 12-day experience filled with parties, shows and special events throughout the city.

A two-weekend expansion had been rumored for years, and Insomniac founder Pasquale Rotella explained that increasing crowd sizes and rising operational costs played a major role in the decision. By splitting the festival into two separate weekends with reduced capacity, organizers aim to improve the overall attendee experience while easing pressure on hotels, transportation and traffic throughout Las Vegas.

The updated format will also introduce lower ticket prices. General Admission passes for a single weekend are expected to start at $399, while special “EDC Dusk Till Dawn” packages granting access to both weekends will begin at $599.

The move marks one of the biggest changes in EDC Las Vegas history and signals a new era for one of the world’s largest electronic music festivals.
