SiriusXM Unveils Exclusive Avicii Radio Channel Celebrating the Iconic DJ’s Legacy
SiriusXM has introduced a special radio channel titled “Avicii Radio,” dedicated to celebrating the illustrious career of the late electronic dance music superstar, Avicii. This unique channel not only plays Avicii’s greatest hits but also introduces fans to rare, previously unreleased tracks recorded during his memorable live performances.

In partnership with the Tim Bergling Foundation (a nonprofit organization founded by Avicii’s family after his untimely death in 2018) this channel aims to honor his profound impact on music and his enduring legacy. The foundation promotes mental health awareness and supports emotional well-being, themes that are emphasized throughout the programming of Avicii Radio.
Listeners can expect to hear personal anecdotes and collaborations with some of Avicii’s close friends and fellow artists, including Nicky Romero, Armin van Buuren, Laidback Luke and Aloe Blacc. Aloe Blacc brings a special touch to the channel as he voices the introductions and shares insights, starting with the duo’s hit “Wake Me Up” Avicii’s most streamed song and a defining track of a generation.
Launching during Mental Health Awareness Month, Avicii Radio is a platform for fostering community support and promoting well-being. The channel features engaging content from Vibrant Emotional Health to provide listeners with access to mental health resources and emotional support.
Klas Bergling, Avicii’s father and director of the Tim Bergling Foundation, expressed gratitude towards SiriusXM and its Vice President of Dance Music, Geronimo, for their longstanding support of Avicii’s career. “This channel not only perpetuates Tim’s legacy but also amplifies our mission to affect positive change concerning mental health among young adults” he stated.
