Skrillex has unveiled his latest musical masterpiece, “F*CK U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! <3”
Skrillex, the electronic music sensation Sonny Moore dropped the bombshell of his 34-track album unexpectedly through a fan-focused email list. Launched with the intriguing subject “FUS FULL ALBUM,” the project is now available through Atlantic Records and OWSLA, featuring a compelling handwritten note by Moore urging fans, “Hope you’ll find some time in your busy life to listen to this album from start to finish,” signed with love, “♥ Sonny.”
This expansive record showcases a vibrant array of collaborations with notable artists like Varg2™, Wuki, Dylan Brady of 100 Gecs, Jónsi, Starrah, Boys Noize, G Jones, Naisha, LOAM, swedm® among others. It kicks off with the provocatively titled track “SKRILLEX IS DEAD”.
Dubbed as possibly Skrillex’s “final project” with the Warner Music Group’s Atlantic Records, ‘FUS’ marks a pivotal transition for the DJ as he plans to forge ahead as an “independent” artist. Revealed in a series of candid posts on X back in November 2024, Skrillex expressed his enthusiasm for upcoming independent releases in 2025. He noted “Being ‘independent’ is a bit of a misnomer as I still rely heavily on my team and fellow creative minds. However, this shift allows me to reassess and simplify how we distribute music and art.”
Noteworthy is the intriguing moment at 31:45 into the album where an audio clip declares “This beat drop has been seized by Atlantic Records and has been replaced with silence” – a detail that has sparked discussions among fans on the Skrillex subreddit.
Prior to this grand release, the DJ teased fans with snippets of ‘Bibi’s Tower’ and ‘Scut’ via the OWSLA mailing list in February. This marks his third surprise release through the OWSLA channels.

Following his previous successful albums ‘QUEST FOR FIRE’ and ‘Don’t Get Too Close’ in 2023, the DJ continued to experiment with collaborative tracks throughout 2024. His creative partnerships included names like Boys Noize, Ahadadream, Priya Ragu, Varg²™, Bladee, Hamdi, TAICHU, Headie One, Fred again.., Champion, Four Tet, Naisha, Loco Dice and Fireboy DML.
