Sónar Festival 2025 Unveils Its First Wave of Electrifying Acts
Sónar (Barcelona’s premier music and digital arts festival) has just dropped the exciting initial lineup for its upcoming 32nd edition, slated to electrify the city from June 12-14, 2025. The festival, renowned for its vibrant blend of music and tech innovations, promises an unforgettable experience with the announcement of the first 66 acts.
The roster is packed with electronic music royalty such as Four Tet, Honey Dijon, Eric Prydz and Jayda G. Also on the billing are crowd favorites like Vintage Culture, Helena Hauff, Peggy Gou, Overmono and Arca. The festival will feature dynamic back-to-back sessions, including a high-energy set by Skrillex & Blawan and a mesmerizing performance by Armin van Buuren and Indira Paganotto.
One of the highlights is sure to be Bicep’s latest audiovisual spectacle, “Chroma” set to mesmerize attendees at the festival stage. Moreover, techno pioneer Richie Hawtin is poised to make a much-anticipated return as Plastikman, his first since 2014, adding a nostalgic yet fresh flavor to the lineup.
Emerging talents such as Tim Reaper, Sama’ Abdulhadi, Hamdi, and Juliana Huxtable, along with Paula Tape, Mochakk, Max Cooper, Barry Can’t Swim and Elkka, are also set to showcase their skills. The festival will feature the innovative “Concrete Waves,” a new collaborative project between Actress and Suzanne Ciani, commissioned by Sónar and the Barbican.
