Tomorrowland Immersive Experience to Open in Madrid This October
Tomorrowland fans, here are some exciting news for you. An immersive audio-visual experience will be making its way to Madrid this October, offering a unique, all-ages experience that combines music, art, and technology. Set to launch on October 25th at the WiZink Center, this event promises to be an unforgettable journey through the iconic themes and history of Tomorrowland, one of the world’s most celebrated electronic music festivals.
According to a press release, the Tomorrowland Immersive Experience will present a “new way to explore” the festival’s rich 20-year history. Visitors will dive deep into the festival’s legendary stories and themes, such as The Story of Planaxis, The Book of Wisdom, The Elixir of Life, and many more. This multi-sensory experience will offer fans a chance to relive the magic of the fest through cutting-edge visual and audio installations.
In addition to showcasing the festival’s past, the immersive experience will also feature digital and interactive installations. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the fest most iconic features and values through virtual reality (VR), allowing them to explore the festival in a way that has never been possible before.
To cap off the event, visitors can browse and purchase exclusive fest merchandise, gadgets, and other memorabilia from the on-site shop, ensuring they take home a piece of the festival experience.
This Madrid installation follows the success of a similar immersive exhibition that launched in Barcelona last year. Running from December to March, the Barcelona exhibition attracted over 40,000 visitors, proving Tomorrowland’s global appeal and its ability to engage audiences with innovative experiences.
The Tomorrowland Immersive Experience in Madrid is being developed by the fest in collaboration with the XR Music Hub, a joint project by Layers of Reality and Blanco y Negro Music. Jordi Sellas, the Artistic Director of Layers of Reality, shared his excitement: “Bringing the Tomorrowland Immersive Experience to Madrid is a key step in our expansion. Madrid’s vibrant cultural and entertainment landscape makes it the perfect setting for one of the most advanced immersive experiences available today.”
In related news, Tomorrowland Winter has revealed details about its 2025 edition, set to take place next March in the stunning French Alps. Meanwhile, Brazil fest edition has also announced the 2024 lineup for its Freedom Stage, which will feature renowned artists like Agents Of Time, Anfisa Letyago, Boris Brejcha, and Reinier Zonneveld.
